Benalla Rural City

Film makers will be delighted with the array of heritage buildings and sculptures including one of Australia’s largest community art projects, the Ceramic Mural. Made up of thousands of handcrafted tiles, the design of the Mural is inspired by Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi and is one of Benalla’s most memorable attractions.

City of Wodonga

Strategically placed between Melbourne and Sydney, the remarkable region surrounding Wodonga offers you magnificent expression of past and present. Found on the picturesque Murray River and close to the wine regions, Wodonga is an ideal filming location.

Greater Shepparton

Gateway to the High Country, the Mansfield region provides some of the best natural features in Victoria as evidenced by ‘Man from Snowy River’. The untouched beauty of rugged mountains blanketed in winter’s snow, secluded rivers, lakes that explore the bush with tentacle like arms and sweeping valley farmlands will inspire film makers’ imaginations and provide a year round backdrop for filming with mountain cattlemen and country sophisticates to boot.

Mitchell Shire

From the Great Dividing Range to the fertile Goulburn Valley Mitchell is home to a network of attractive heritage towns. Mitchell provides a wealth of opportunity for the filming enterprise whilst is a diverse region in harmony with country living.

Moira Shire

Bordered by the Murray, Ovens and Goulburn rivers, the Moira region is fondly referred to as Sun Country. Moira boasts strong agricultural, horticultural and viticulture operations. Murrindindi Shire

Located within an hour and a half of the Melbourne metropolitan fringe, Murrindindi embraces much of Victoria’s immeasurable beauty through a landscape of mountains, forests, lakes and sparkling streams. Complemented by a historic essence that is captured within the larger country towns of Alexandra, Eildon, Flowerdale, Kinglake, Marysville and Yea. Strathbogie Shire

Only one and a half hours from Melbourne set within the eternal landscape of rugged hills, spectacular vistas, rocky outcrops, forests, waterfalls and ferny glades is the spectacular countryside of the Strathbogie Ranges Region. Towong Shire

Home to the pure end of the Murray River and the ‘real’ Man from Snowy River, Towong region’s economy revolves around a rich agricultural sector making it a pure and real countryside and a picturesque country film location.

Wangaratta Rural City

The Wangaratta region encompasses the areas of the King Valley and Milawa Gourmet Region - famous for their wines and produce, beautiful alpine valley vistas and unique characters shaped by a strong Mediterranean heritage; and Glenrowan and Eldorado - with their gold rush history and once home to Australia’s most infamous bushranger, Ned Kelly.
