Cheshunt

Overview
Cheshunt is a small rural village situated in the upper King Valley in North East Victoria, Australia. It is located about 50 kilometres from Wangaratta and is close to the Alpine National Park.
A township within the productive agricultural King Valley, with the King River running from the mountains of the Alpine National Park down through the valley floor to join the Ovens River at Wangaratta.
History
The area is steeped in history with the Ned Kelly story and Powers Lookout, a hideout and lookout for the infamous Harry Power who it’s said taught Ned the trade of bushranging. Victoria’s highest waterfall is also in the region (the Dandongadale Falls) as well as the picturesque Lake William Hovell and Paradise Falls.
