Bellbridge

Overview

Bellbridge is a small town overlooking Lake Hume and located near the Bethanga township. Bellbridge is one of the only towns around Lake Hume that has permanent water frontage, and overlooks the Weir Wall of Lake Hume.

Bellbridge is a popular destination for local tourists, especially from the nearby towns of Albury and Wodonga. The Steel Truss bridge is 720 metres long making it the longest bridge of its type in Australia. The Bridge itself has film potential, being over permanent water body of Lake Hume.

History

Bellbridge was developed as a town from farm land in the 1960s. Over looking Lake Hume, and located near the Bethanga Bridge.
