This is the most famous street of the Melbourne city. The street is named after the spouse of Governor Richard Bourke. Elizabeth Street is popular for retail shopping, automobile, and camera. The street is close to Bourke Street Mall, Melbourne’s GPO, Melbourne Central Shopping Centre and Queen Victoria Market. The famous Elizabeth Street runs from North direction – down South. This street meets the Flinders Street Station at the Southern end and Grattan Street in the Northern End.

The best way to reach the street is through rail and trams. The Melbourne Central Railway Station intersects the street and thus makes this place easily reachable.
