CHATSWORTH HOUSE

This amazingly built palace was the residence of Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The mansion had witnessed 16 generations of the Cavendish family down the lane. The contemporary design, modern water foundations and artistic sculpture work of this place make it famous amongst the filmmakers. One thing that makes the palace different is the lavish green Chatsworth Garden spread over 105 acres of land. Filmmakers explore the scenic beauty of Chatsworth garden as the number of actors has been shot moving around the garden and buggy tours.
The Ring Pond, Rockery and Cascade garden of this villa made this place a must in the big-budget Australian movies. Chatsworth House is maintained by the volunteers and remains open all through the year.
The Woodland Playground is a perfect family outing place for the movies. The swings, sliders and the milk production activity in the area create space for building a movie plot. The film unit is allowed to shoot here from 10.30 in the morning till 4 in the evening.
